There are so many stories of motherhood. This mama was so sweet with her littles who started the session with a ton of energy. She couldn’t have handled it with more gentle grace and I was pretty much in awe of her way with them. I let her know at the end of the session after she apologized to me for their behavior as moms often do, that she may have felt like a hot mess express but that she handled it perfectly. It’s so hard to be in the thick of the energy and wanting so badly for your kiddos to cooperate knowing you are on a limited timeframe……..I totally get it.
Anyway, I think it’s super important for all moms to know that I am there to tell their story and this is part of the story of motherhood. Grab your little’s hands, connect with them. These tender moments sometimes end up being the best images from the session and translate into raw love to the viewer. Motherhood is not perfect. It’s messy and please know that as a mother myself I am always there to help, never to judge.

Hello, thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Stephanie, a family and newborn photographer in Sacramento. I live in Lincoln, California and my studio is in Roseville.
