This is a  story of motherhood between mother and son in the studio. I get a little weepy when looking at these images because I feel that pain of your babies getting bigger before you’re ready. The time just flies by and before you know it, they’ve practically grown out of diapers overnight.

This mama is going to be ending her journey with nursing and wanted a nursing image. When I edited this first image, I just felt so blessed to be able to share this moment with her and proud to give it to her for her to cherish forever. Keep this in a safe place, Mama! We all know these moments are far from forgotten but the treasure of this capture will hopefully ease the transition a bit and remind you of all the moments shared bonding and providing. It’s nothing short of amazing and such a blessing to be able to breastfeed your children.

Hello, thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Stephanie, a family and newborn photographer in Sacramento. I live in Lincoln, California and my studio is in Roseville.   I love telling the story of motherhood, movement in images, I love connection, I love golden, dappled light and the way it dances and bounces around on my subject’s skin. I love airy images as well as moody images and I continuously dip my toe in whatever moves me for the day, which, I think is so important.

 I offer studio and on-site sessions. Studio sessions are available for newborns, sitters and expectant mothers. My studio offers beautiful, natural light creating special memories with an organic and airy feeling. I also offer the use of my studio wardrobe, taking the pressure off of you so that you can enjoy the experience without having to worry about shopping for your entire family.
