Sammy With Bloomonade | A Collaboration

Meet Sammy with Bloomonade, beautiful, talented and, oh, so sweet! Her florals reflect just how wonderful she is from the inside out, and they smelled just heavenly! I had so much fun with this, flowers just kind of lift my spirit and make me feel so happy. Please go and check her out, you will be amazed with her work, but mostly with HER. I cannot wait to see what she creates next, I know it will be just stunning! Total bonus………….I grabbed her for a little interview so we can all get to know her a little better.

-How long have you been in business?
I’ve officially been in business since February 2017 but I’ve been doing weddings since 2014.
What led you to becoming a floral designer?
I started floral design four years ago when a friend asked me to do her wedding. I’ve been exploring and learning ever since.
-What inspires you most about doing this?
I’ve always loved flowers. As a child I would hang out with my mom in the yard and plant with her.  I’m inspired with the change in seasonal blooms. Part of the art is learning to work with what’s in season and playing with different florals and textures.
-If you could design a dream bouquet or event what would it look like?
My dream bouquet/wedding would be garden inspired with boat loads of peonies.
-Where’d you get the name Bloomonade from?
It’s a play on the words bloom + lemonade (my favorite artist Beyonce’s album). My tag line is, “When life gives you blooms make bouquets.”
-What’s your favorite bridal style?
I like a mix of bridal styles. I would say my favorites are romantic and boho. I really let my brides express their style to me and we come up with a floral design that matches their personality. The creative process is always fun.

Hello, thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Stephanie, the best family photographer in Sacramento. I live in Lincoln, California and my studio is in Roseville. Being a family and newborn photographer absolutely grabs me in the deepest depths of my soul. Creating memories for families to cherish forever is a dream! I love movement in images, I love connection, I love golden, dappled light and the way it dances and bounces around on my subject’s skin. I love airy images as well as moody images and I continuously dip my toe in whatever moves me for the day, which, I think is so important.

I offer studio and on-site sessions. Studio sessions are available for newborns, sitters and expectant mothers. My studio offers beautiful, natural light creating special memories with an organic and airy feeling. I also offer the use of my studio wardrobe, taking the pressure off of you so that you can enjoy the experience without having to worry about shopping for your entire family. I would love to be invited to capture your family memories, I promise to help make the process fun and relaxing.
