The magic of a growing family is enough to make my day complete but this family right here has a very special place in my heart for many reasons. Ashley and Stefan were our first neighbors my hubs and I made friends with many children ago. They also happen to be my very first photography clients/models. They graciously let me overly smooth their skin to plastic and whiten the whites of their eyeballs to a state of crazy when I first started out. The fact that they still come back to me for their milestones speaks volumes about them and their willingness to support me lol!
As they welcome their third child I can’t help but wonder where the time has gone. Toward the end of our session I asked them to sing a song and you guys………they all started singing “Do Re Mi” lyrics from Sound of Music and it made me teary. All I can say is life is good!
Hello, thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Stephanie, a family and newborn photographer in Sacramento. I live in Lincoln, California and my studio is in Roseville. I love telling the story of motherhood, movement in images, I love connection, I love golden, dappled light and the way it dances and bounces around on my subject’s skin. I love airy images as well as moody images and I continuously dip my toe in whatever moves me for the day, which, I think is so important.
I offer studio and on-site sessions. Studio sessions are available for newborns, sitters and expectant mothers. My studio offers beautiful, natural light creating special memories with an organic and airy feeling. I also offer the use of my studio wardrobe, taking the pressure off of you so that you can enjoy the experience without having to worry about shopping for your entire family.
