This season of life is one that fills my cup as a photographer. Documenting a birth session is such a treasure and being able to be a fly on the wall as new life begins in this world is such an honor for me. This sweet daddy has been in my life for close to 30 years. So, so many of my barefoot and messy memories as a child include him. To see him expanding his precious family so many years later makes my heart full.
They already had three beautiful daughters and chose not to find out this baby’s gender prior to being earthside. You can only imagine the anticipation in the room and nearby as we all waiting for this sweet babe’s arrival. They welcomed their first son, Cash Ray Edgar and the tears and emotions were felt throughout the area I’m sure.

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Stephanie, a family and newborn photographer in Sacramento. I live in Lincoln, California and my studio is in Roseville. I love telling the story of motherhood, movement in images, I love connection, I love golden, dappled light and the way it dances and bounces around on my subject’s skin. I love airy images as well as moody images and I continuously dip my toe in whatever moves me for the day, which, I think is so important.
I offer studio and on-site sessions. Studio sessions are available for newborns, sitters and expectant mothers. My studio offers beautiful, natural light creating special memories with an organic and airy feeling. I also offer the use of my studio wardrobe, taking the pressure off of you so that you can enjoy the experience without having to worry about shopping for your entire family.
