This session was captured during one of my trips to CA at Folsom Lake. I love this location with it’s white sand beaches and water. It’s one of those spots that doesn’t look like the typical Sacramento Valley and resembles more of a coastal beach vibe.
This mama styled her family herself and I loved the vibe. Her little one was a but shy at the beginning, as children often are, but warmed up after a bit. I know her mama really wanted this session to go smoothly so we were thankful she didn’t pump the brakes. I know that’s a concern for most moms but to date I have never had a child just flat out not participate and have to reschedule. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve but typically let the parents lead and step in to assist only when needed.

My studio is located near Kalama, Washington-Greater Portland Area. I offer studio, in home, outdoor and travel sessions. Studio sessions are reserved for smaller, more intimate shoots. It’s perfect for maternity, newborn, nursing, 6 mo and 1 year sessions. Ask me about my new Petite Studio offering!
